2. How are trash bags made?

• Trash bags start with plastic in its rawest form, called Resin.
• The resin pellets are first heated to 400°F.
• The molten plastic is then formed into a bubble
• The bubble is drawn upward over 20' to cool and then collapsed into a continuous tube.
• As the tube continues along the production lines the bag is automatically formed by cutting the tube to the right length for the bag size and sealing the bottom.

Trash bags are made of low or high density polyethylene. In some products, we also utilize reprocessed post-consumer and post industrial polyethylene while still maintaining a good quality bag.
